Éowyn doesn't hurry. She lingers in the stable a long time after sending one of the servants off to ready a room, and since nobody's directing Jack anywhere else, she's presumably expecting him to stay while she sees to the horses - not just feeding and watering them, but brushing them down as well. She's not one to cut corners, especially not when it comes to her beloved horses.
For the most part, she ignores him while she works, besides occasionally gesturing for him to pass her something. At last, she says, "You'll be across the hall from me. Where I can keep an eye on you, if need be."
